Rental Requirements
All beverages, hard and soft, must be purchased through the theatre; likewise popcorn. Renters must comply with health and fire codes.

Rental/Proposal Process
Please inquire about booking as far in advance of your proposed dates as possible. Three months in advance is the recommended minimum window for weekend evening bookings; weekdays tend to fill up more slowly - six weeks is often sufficient.
Cancellation Policy
A deposit of 50% is required to complete a booking. The deposit is non-refundable within 30 days of the event.
A credit card must be on file in lieu of a damage deposit.
Failure to comply with Texas Theatre policies, such as the card on file for the damage deposit, can result in your event being cancelled without refund.

Rather than a minimum spend, there is a flat, hourly fee of $50 to have the bar open and staffed according to estimated attendance.

The Building
The Texas Theatre is a 1931 movie palace, located in North Oak Cliff. The auditorium boasts not only a forty-foot movie screen, but also a full stage, with 646 seats.
