The Space
The Mix Creative Space supports local artists and creatives while fostering a vibrant arts community in East Dallas and DFW.
We enable creatives to thrive as working artists and support new and emerging artists. We strive to create a collaborative and supportive community contributing to the advancement of the arts in Dallas and North Texas.
The Mix Creative Space provides resources such as private and shared studio spaces and co-working/creative office spaces for members, classroom space for member teaching artists, and an exhibition space for member artists.
The Mix Creative Space encourages collaboration between the community and the arts; is inclusive and diverse; maintains the highest values; and respects the creative expression of our artist and creative members.
Monthly Rental
$150 – $295 per month
Artist - Semi-Private Studio Spaces (minimum 6-month lease) -
Semi-private studio space designed for visual artists that encourages creativity. Plenty of room to spread out and work on projects in spaces filled with abundant natural light. Partitions can be added for additional privacy.
Includes individual lockable storage cabinet and access to shared artist sink.
24/7 access.
Three studio spaces (Matisse, Monet, Renoir) with floor to ceiling windows - 156 sq. ft. each @ $295 per month.

Rental Requirements
Renter's insurance required for private and semi-private artist studio spaces.
Rules & Regulations
Tenants in open spaces must listen to music using headphones or earbuds.
Cancellation Policy
6-month minimum lease for private and semi private artist spaces.
First month's rent due upon signing of lease.
30 cancellation required. Cancellations within 30 days will result in forfeit of deposit.

The Mix Creative Space encourages collaboration between the community and the arts; is inclusive and diverse; maintains the highest values; and respects the creative expression of our artist and creative members.

Private and semi-private artist studio space artists have access to studios 24/7/365.
Private studio space artists have their own individual keycards for building access and keys for private studio access.
Semi-private studio space artists have their own individual keycards for building access and an individual lockable storage cabinet.
Visual Artist Ateliers (open & collaborative space) and Coworking | Creative Writing Spaces - 8am-5pm access - Monday to Friday.

Free accessible onsite parking.
Accessibility
The Mix Creative Space is located in the lower level of White Rock United Methodist Church. The building is ADA compliant for accessibility standards, including a passenger elevator and has accessible restrooms.
Security
Building access is controlled, with The Mix Creative Space Director's office located at the main entry. Tenants can enter from main entrance of The Mix Creative Space or the side entrance of the church, which is wheelchair accessible. There is exterior lighting around the building and a security camera system in place.
